WELCOME to the Lady Eagles Basketball program at Sandra Day O'Connor High School. At O'Connor we are building a basketball program into something to be proud of. We are very fortunate to have an excellent coaching staff that is dedicated to promoting the success of the girls in the program.
As a coaching staff we have a common goal in mind to help each player use the season to become the best student - athlete they can be. In addition, we strongly believe that playing sports is a tool that allows for personal growth and success. An athlete in this program will not only learn the game of basketball, but it is our goal to help them learn what it means to be a team player, which is an attribute that is very important in society.
The girls in our program will portray an enthusiatic and positive attitude, while carrying themselves as a class team, both on and off the court. Our program will be based on the techniques and fundamentals of basketball through the teaching of coaches, and the focused learning of the players.
Parent and fan support is welcomed and appreciated by the coaching staff. We invite parents to get involved with the booster club, attendance of games, and most importantly supporting the program.
