Educational Background: B.A. in Education from Ottawa University and M.A. in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University.
Basketball Experience: Coach Mclain (a.k.a "McLain") is in his 5th year as the women's head basketball coach at O'Connor High School. He has been coaching basketball for the past eleven years. McLain’s varsity team finished last year with a 15-11 record enabling his team to reach the state playoffs for the 3rd year as the varsity coach at O'Connor. Coach McLain enjoys attending numerous coaching clinics throughout each year. He is also the founder of the annual "Champion" summer basketball camps for boys and girls of all ages held at O'Connor High School. Originally at O'Connor, Coach McLain spent two years in the boys basketball program before having the opportunity to move over to the girls program. During the spring, coach McLain spends the season coaching baseball. He has been a part of the baseball program for the bast 7 years at O'Connor. The Eagles won their first region championship in 2007 and have finished in the "top 5" in the state of Arizona twice in 4 varsity seasons. Coach McLain has also seen 16 players go off to play college baseball. The highlight of his playing career was winning a state championship for baseball and finishing state runner up for two seasons in basketball. The highlight of his coaching career has been making it to the playoffs for three years in basketball and making it to the state playoffs every year in baseball, including the televised state championship baseball game in 2008. When it comes to academics, Coach McLain serves in the Math department at O'Connor High School. He enjoys seeing the success of his students. The highlight of his teaching is seeing students exceed the AIMS test each April. Coach McLain holds his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University.
Personal Information: Coach McLain was married to Julie McLain on March 18, 2005. Coach McLain and his wife live in the O'Connor community. They have one dog, a jack russel terrier. Justin and Julie are also proud parents for the first time to little Jackson Ray McLain, born April 14, 2008. There will be more children to come.

Educational Background: B.A. in Christian Education from Southwestern College (LA)
Basketball Experience: Coach Fleegle (a.k.a "Fleegle") enters into his second year at O'Connor High School and his 11th season of high school basketball overall. Along the way he has spent most of his time as the Offensive Coordinator at both Phoenix Christian High School and Valley Christian High School coaching on both the boys and girls sides. Coach Fleegle has conducted or been part of numerous summer camps and clinics including Big Stuff Basketball Camp, DraftDay Basketball Camp, Ambassadors in Mission, and Nike Coaches Clinics. Before coaching, Coach Fleegle played two seasons at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania at the NCCAA Division II level. Coach Fleegle presently teaches Social Studies and History at Freedom Academy in Scottsdale.
Personal Information: Coach Fleegle was married to Lindsey Fleegle on July 7th, 2007. Lindsey also coaches girls varsity basketball at Mountain Ridge High School. Coach Fleegle enjoys all things related to THEE Ohio State University (and Ohio in general) and also enjoys golfing as much as possible. He and his wife have one cat, "Pivot".

Junior Varsity Coach: Mr. Jaime Carreon
Basketball Experience: After graduating from Centennial High School (AZ), Coach Carreon had the privilage and honor of playing for the Junior Olympic team where he and his team were able to win a gold medal. Shortly after this experience, Coach Carreon began his coaching career and is now entering his 16th season of girls basketball overall. He is in his 3rd year at O'Connor High School. Coach Carreon comes from a family that loves the game of basketball. Coach Carreon also has a sister who is currently a cadet in the United States Military Academy at West Point. Coach Carreon spends his days as a full time Assistant Director at La Petite Academy in Peoria. His sister graduated from West Point and is now a 2nd liutenant in the U.S Army. In the off-season from O'Connor basketball, coach Carreon coaches girls basketball at Oasis Elementary in the Peoria school district.

Freshman Coach: Mr. Chris Harmonson

Educational Background: B.A. in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and M.A. in School Counseling from University of Phoenix.
Basketball Experience: Coach Harmonson (a.k.a "Harm Dogg") has spent the last 16 years coaching high school athletics and has a wealth of knowledge for the game of basketball. He has previously spent time as the Freshman coach and is now in his second season as an assistant on the Varsity team. Coach harmonson will be spending a lot of his time and efforts in developing O'Connor post players. Coach Harmonson also serves in the counseling office at O'Connor High School.
Personal Information: Coach Harmonson is married to Debbie Harmonson, who too is a counselor at O'Connor High School. Coach Harmonson and his wife both enjoy camping, hunting, and archery in their free time.
Krystal Pratt: Special Assistant
Bio:
Krystal has been playing basketball for her entire life. Her goal is to become a head varsity basketball coach in the future. She is an alumni of Sunrise Mountain High School and is currently working on her college degree. Krystal will be an assistant freshman coach and helping the posts at the varsity level. She takes a lot of pride in teaching the post players how to rebound, post up and take charges. Her playing career began at Glendale Community College where she played basketball for two years. She enjoys playing basketball on a regular basis and is training to go on to finish her two years of eligibility at The University of Colorado. O'Connor is excited to have her as part of the coaching staff.
